MKA SOMRAT (مْ كِ أ سُمْرَتْ)
Hey look this is me, Muhammad Kawsar Ahmad Somrat — formerly known as MKA SOMRAT, and earlier as mKaSomraT, mKas — a Ṭālib al-ʿIlm, a Dāʿī ilā Allāh, and a Philanthropist.
The central theme of Overclock is the inseparable connection between the brain and the body.
You can’t take care of your body without taking care of your brain, and you can’t take care of your brain and mind without taking care of your body.
Your brain isn’t a computer that controls your body from above.
It is your body. It floats in cerebrospinal fluid, nourished by blood vessels, regulated by hormones produced by your endocrine system, which responds to what you eat, how you sleep, and how you move.
You change your diet—you change glucose metabolism—you change the availability of energy for neurons. You change your movement—you change BDNF—you change neuroplasticity. You change your sleep—you change the glymphatic phase—you change the removal of toxins from the brain.
Both support and complement each other.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentioned in Qur'an, Surah Al-Infitar 82:6-7: “O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, Who created you, fashioned you, and balanced you?”
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala knows best.

Mā shā’ Allāh, a truly thought-provoking and beautifully articulated piece. The connection between the brain, body, lifestyle, and the intricate balance Allah has created is wonderfully presented. I especially appreciated how scientific concepts like neuroplasticity, BDNF, and sleep were connected to a deeper reflection on human existence. A powerful reminder that caring for our body and mind is part of appreciating Allah’s remarkable creation. May Allah bless you with beneficial knowledge and accept this effort. Jazākallāhu khoyron for this excellent article.
